In the past 10 years I have exchanged website design and internet marketing services for gym memberships, sports clothing, an iPod, accounting help, photography, advertising, and food products amongst other things. In almost every instance, the person with whom I bartered was afraid to bring up the concept of exchanging services without money being involved. I’m not sure why this is. The barter system of trading work for a value is a great way to get what you need without money getting in the way. If you don’t have enough money to purchase something from a service professional like internet marketers, lawyers, accountants or any other person – try bringing up barter as means of exchange. Just make sure you have something of value to offer. Just a thought.
